For this assignment, I decided to update my H5p video. It is an introductory video about how to properly give a car wash. I added more information and multiple choices into the video. The video itself doesn’t share a lot of concepts and the reason for doing things, so I embedded these information to help the audience to understand why they should use certain products in certain ways.

The H5p video follows many of the multimedia learning principles. First and foremost, multimedia principle, people get to see the video of the presenter showing them each step of the washing process, also hearing the presenter narrate through the video. At different stages of the video, I embedded some text posters for the audience to read, it provides more information. These embedded texts follow the signalling principle, I added them when I think the information is important and should be highlighted. The video also features the personalization principle, the choice of the wording and the narration is like the presenter is talking to a friend, not as a teacher. Worked example principle is also used in this, the video went through every car washing process, shows a live example. Near the end of the video, some multiple choice questions are added. This gives the learner a chance to test their knowledge, and to rewind the key takeaways from the video.
